Managing your subscription
Knewness subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account, so you manage them there:
- Open Settings on your iPhone and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Choose Knewness to change your plan or cancel.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the current period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com; Google Play refunds are handled by Google in the Play Store.
Common questions
Where do the confessions come from?
Every Scripture, confession, and prayer in Knewness is drawn from the Berean Standard Bible and prepared in advance, so what reaches you has already been weighed. When you type how you feel, the app finds which of those subjects sits closest to what you said and hands you the nearest ones to choose from. More detail is in How your words are matched.
Why did the app say it had nothing for what I typed?
Sometimes the library doesn’t yet have words that truly fit what you described. We would rather tell you that honestly than hand you a verse that misses. What you named still matters, and we use these moments — without storing your words — to decide what to write next.
How do I delete my account and data?
Profile → Delete my account, inside the app. It removes your account and your personal information from our systems — you don’t have to email anyone or wait on us. If you have trouble, write to privacy@knewness.app and we’ll take care of it.
Is my journal private?
Yes. Your journal is yours and is not shown to anyone. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture of how your information is handled.
